In all honesty, Kurumi hadn't really looked at her surroundings yet and had been more focused on getting her movements down and practicing the incantation to really look.
She then looked over and saw a younger Ravenclaw student looking very frustrated with herself. It was a feeling that the prefect knew all to well herself. "Probably because you are getting frustrated," she said calmly as she walked over to the girl with a soft smile on her lips. "It is only natural, to get frustrated, but it can prevent us from performing spells because it gets in the way of our intent. Try to relax a bit and you'll get there eventually." It wouldn't be horrible if she didn't master the spell this lesson either. She was a student, they all were, and everyone's learning curve was different.
Lily noticed when a girl started talking to someone, and then Lily realized that the girl was talking to her. Looking around, the ravenclaw made eye contact with the older girl, a prefect... Lily could see the badge.
"Ok... thank you for the help." Lily grinned. All she had to do was relax a bit and then try again. Hopefully then it would work.
Once she had calmed down, she tried again. Make a circle...while saying the incantation... and then flick. After a couple of tries, Lily managed to make the little orb though her flick wasn't all that accurate and it flew way over the trunk, hitting the wall behind. But the ravenclaw was happy because she had managed to produce the orb and even managed to launch it, even though it was off target.
