He almost expected more questions about his job but Stef seemed content with the information he had already revealed no matter how little it might seem. Well more for later if they needed stuff to talk about...and interesting prospect....a later.

The auror hadn't thought anything about his paying for them both, it had just seemed the right thing to do rather then split it between them. It wasn't as if he couldn't afford the simple meal if a single hotdog could be called that really. Jonathan nodded at her thanks, having just taken a bite and listened to her reply. "Also an interesting job," he remarked, having heard stories from his best friend in her own endeavors in teaching. Granted he was never the true academic, favoring only the classes he needed to his future, but that didn't mean he didn't understand those who were. He wasn't a bone-head athletic type by any means. "Well hopefully the numbers will give you some luck there."
He was definitely a quiet one, serious and quiet. One that definitely showed her what she'd thought an auror might be like. It was nice to have that in a person she thought. The last guy she'd been with had wanted to do nothing but talk about himself! Catching a drip from her hot dog with the napkin she smiled at his words about the numbers giving her luck. "We can always hope." she replied with a laugh. Those numbers were always just fun to play with to her but knew they could mean something but so far hadn't had anything really pop out and prove that to her.

Odd that she'd taken up the field when she really didn't believe in it fully, but she loved finding what the numbers meant and how to get to them.

Taking a seat at one of the empty tables she looked over at Jonathan, "So what is it you do just for fun?" That was a good simple question right? Aurors had to wind down somehow, and she was curious if they had anything in common!
