Alyssa watched, bored. It might be inresting to see who the Tributes from District One were. Whether they were anyone she knew. Whether they had a chance of winning. Whether she should bother to support them. She brushed back her long hair, eyes on the podium in front of her. Front row seats. Ooh, looked like they were going to finally start!

"And the female champion is..." Who would it be, who would it be? "...Alyssa Burnett!" Oh, God. Lyssie was about to have a panic attack. Her face grew red as the young child behind pushed her forward. She looked round. No volunteers? No, no volunteers. She had no choice but to do this.

The young woman put her face in her hands and walked forward towards Daniel, not looking at anyone and completely ignoring the faces staring up at her.

Now she was shoved on a train, being sent to the Capitol. There had been no emotianal goodbyes, because she didn't have anyone to say goodbye to. It had never really bothered Alyssa but, at that minute, it hurt. She'd have to make some allies beforehand and keep them until they were the only ones left and she had to kill them. Wouldn't be too hard. She liked killing. But, without a wand?
