His lack of communication with Viola didn't go unnoticed. The cat was too busy trying to get free of her owner's grip to acknowledge it though. Louisa furrowed her eyebrows at that, worried. "You're.. not allergic to cats, are you?" Which was the only excusable reason of why he hadn't patted Viola. If he indeed was allergic then it was very insensitive of Louisa.
"We can go to the Duck pond. Very colorful place." Unless he was allergic to ducks too. They could just go to the topiary garden then and pretend that the animal trees are actual animals.
Emrys laughed nervously.
"I am, but it's fine. I knew there would be a ton of cats around here, so I just have to take a potion every so often." You know, so he could breathe. Even so, his nose tickled a bit, either from habit or actual reaction, he wasn't sure. He twitched it involuntarily, which he was sure looked funny.
Her arm securely in his, he thought over her proposal.
"Yes, that sounds good. Can you lead the way?" Emrys wasn't entirely sure if he actually knew the way to the duck pond. He shifted the basket again, so that it wouldn't bang him in the hip as they walked.
