"
Emrys!" She called a few feet from behind him. He had a picnic basket! "
Hi," Louisa's eyes were glued to the basket, "
This is going to be fun! I like picnic food." She liked food in general though. "
I brought candies. My last package from Honeydukes." Lifting her bag in front of him in a gesture to the candies.
Oh! And, "
Meet Viola," Louisa said cheerfully extending the cat toward him. He could... shake paws with her or something. "
I hope you don't mind me bringing her. She's been locked up in the dorms for so long and I didn't think it was a good idea to go out on a picnic without her." He got used to her rambling, didn't he?
Emrys' breath caught in his throat as he turned and saw Louisa standing behind him, looking, well, to his opinion, stunning. He suddenly felt self-conscious in his zipped up hoody, but glad it covered his "Wizard with Words" tee shirt from his mom.
He smiled awkwardly. "Well, there's certainly plenty. I didn't know what you would like.". He shrugged before noticing the candy. "Oh, if that's your last bag, you really don't need to share it with me."
He blinked a little bit at the cat, thankful that his mother had had the foresight to supply him with a terms worth of allergy potion. "Hello there, Viola," he said looking from girl to cat and nthen back, keeping his hands to himself.
"So," he said, picnic basket swinging in his hand, "where shall we start our picnic/tour? Your choice."
He sorta stuck his free arm out, but not so drastically that it would seem like an offer. She could take it if she wanted, but if she didn't, hopefully it wouldn't seem too forward.
