Alyssa blinked. 'What was the point of what? Giving the rune to him?'Alyssa thought to herself. She was about to panic before she remembered the reason. "Uh... the Ancient Runes Professor wanted us to carve a rune which best fits the personality or character of a staff member. I chose the rune Tiwaz because it represents Honor, Justice, Leadership and Authority, all of which I believe you possess, Headmaster, or you wouldn't be our Headmaster." Alyssa told him

Alyssa knew that there was another reason. Then she remembered. "Oh yes, the rune can be used to give you more courage...not that you aren't brave already...and to protect you in battle. I know that you're not going out to war or anything, but with all the strange creature sightings and things happening in the school, in a sense you are in some kind of battle. A battle to try to solve the mystery, but at the same time ensuring that no one, or creature, gets hurt in the process." Alyssa told him. 'Yes this rune definitely represents the characteristics of our Headmaster.' Alyssa thought to herself.
