It was a beautiful spring day - the skies were blue with a few fluffy white clouds. Flowers were blooming, the grass was a brilliant green, and insects were hatching. Spectators arrived to the stadium an hour beforehand and the crowd was becoming restless as the start time of the game grew closer.

Professor Vindictus strode out onto the pitch and began to address the crowd. "Welcome to today's friendly match between traditional rivals Slytherin and Gryffindor. The winner of today's game will face a terrifying Ravenclaw team that looks to seek revenge for their loss several weeks ago but enough about that. Everyone, please give your teams a loud round of applause as they enter the stadium!"

A loud creaking noise was heard as the gates opened.

WHOOSH!

The teams took to the air and warmed up for fifteen minutes before settling into position overhead. Vindictus took out the game lineups that the captains submitted. He checked them three times before giving his nod of approval, and then went about releasing the Snitch and Bludgers into the air.

Vindictus took the Quaffle into his hands and began to address the teams. "I want a clean game from both houses. Remember to play your positions and try not to swallow too many bugs. On my whistle . . . one . . . two . . . three . . . TWEET!"

The Quaffle was tossed into the air and the players zoomed into action.
