"Well I'm finding out right now, aren't I?" William munched through some more of the apple and held it out so she could see it, just now noticing that she had lain down on the blanket. Ohhhhhh. She looked comfortable.
He finished up his apple and then lay down near her too, but not too close, you know, it was a big blanket. "So are you admitting that you were thinking about poisoning me? Is the date going that badly?" He eyed her with a twinkle in his brown eyes, suddenly reminded of something she had asked him earlier.
