And thank goodness for dragonhide gloves as Xavier wrapped one of his vine-leaf-whatevers around her arm. As gently as she could, she plopped the plant into the hole and attempted to remove her arm from his grasp, which was proving to be sort of difficult since he didn't want to let go. "Um, professor, can I have one of those meat scraps?" she ask with a surprising calmness in her tone.
Aaaaawww look at that, they were bonding! Seren grinned brightly, folding her arms across her chest and continued to observe the lovely interaction before her. Xavier knew who his mummy was, he was being rather gentle in his movements, not just simply lashing out as they often did.
"Of course you may," she replied, unfolding her arms and handing over the last two scraps.
"He seems to like you," she added, not being able to resist. He was like a little child, holding onto his mother, such a sweetheart.
