"Yep, tuck him in, just watch for the thorns, they're rather sharp."
She held the bushling out to Kurumi with one hand, using her free hand to tempt it with another snack. It wouldn't do either of them any good if it decided to snack on the Gryffindors hair, that would be rather awkward.
Xavier DID tug on Kurumi's hair when she accepted the plant, gnawing on it a bit but quickly spitting it out when it saw the fresh meat being offered to him by the Herbology professor. SO much better than hair! Kurumi had sort of just froze when he had gone for her hair. Sudden movements were bad when this sort of thing happened, right?
And thank goodness for dragonhide gloves as Xavier wrapped one of his vine-leaf-whatevers around her arm. As gently as she could, she plopped the plant into the hole and attempted to remove her arm from his grasp, which was proving to be sort of difficult since he didn't want to let go. "
Um, professor, can I have one of those meat scraps?" she ask with a surprising calmness in her tone.
