Amelia was seriously worried about splashing water from her vase all over her front and the floor as she made her way up the stairs to the second floor. Though she supposed that either one of those options was still better than the one of her dropping the whole thing on the floor. She tried not to shudder at the thought of all that mess it would create. Maybe she'd get in trouble as well.
Oh well. With her vase intact, she made her way down the corridor looking for a nice place to put her pretty flowers. She decided on a windowsill near the Arithmancy classroom. Professor Hadley might like seeing it, and of course the other students passing by as well. It would look even more brilliant in the sunlight as well.
Walking over to the window, she carefully placed it on the sill making sure that there was enough room for it. When she was satisfied that it wouldn't fall off, she backed away and looked at it closely. It was very pretty.
Smile on her face, she walked off. Time to get her second vase. |
