But the main reason he didn't want to tell Cardigan, was because he knew Cardigan liked him. She even said it...

Then he sighed and looked at the ground, before looking back at Ella. "Apologize...right..I'll uh..do that.." he said, the butterflies in his stomach already there. He was real nervous about that. He hoped everything would go well.
