"Cardigan j-just found out that we're...t...together a few hours ago today...and...sh-she wasn't t-too happy that I told her...this late..." he said. "She seemed really u-upest about it and I didn't want to upset her or anything..and I don't know what to do when I come around her...I know she'll glare at me or something..." he said with a frown.
Ella sat quite still, hands in her lap, waiting for Logan to start talking. When he seemed hesitant, Ella grew even more nervous. What on earth was going on? She listened quietly as he told her what happened with Cardigan, frowning slightly. This wasn't good, wasn't good at all.
"Logan, I-I'm sorry she's upset with you...I bet she's upset with me too." Because Ella and Cardigan had formed a friendship too, one that she valued.
"I didn't really know it-we-were a secret I guess but one of us probably should have told her I suppose..." Ella didn't like fighting, especially with friends. She sighed.
"Logan, I think the only thing to do is apologize for not telling her. If she's your friend, she'll forgive you." ...and hopefully me too even though we have barely any history and she probably thinks I stole her best friend away from her.
