Alysson shook her head at him again when he tried to imitate her, grinning nonetheless. Glancing over at him for a moment, she then followed his gaze upwards to the sky. Or where they sky should've been. There were mostly only branches and leaves. "Well, I at least know I'll be in good hands if that happens." She replied, winking at him as she refocused her gaze on the path again.
Good. Good. They were just going to drop the subject. For now anyway. Reaching up to put the back of her hand against her cheek to cool it down, Alysson quickly jumped right on the next topic. "Oh. It's...well, it's more or less right in the middle of the United States, really." You know, where DOROTHY AND TOTO were from. But then again, hardly anybody from the Wizarding World had heard that story.
Smart. Sure. "I guess so. Well, I was just really interested in most of the subjects, you know." She hadn't been one of those people who were inside studying all the time. She had had a social life too. "I wouldn't know. I only went there for school. So yeah, at school there's the usual to do. You know, go outside. Go swimming. Meet up with friends." She trailed off with a shrug, not really knowing what else to mention.
Awesome. She could really use a break from sitting on that bi- "Hey!" She exclaimed in surprise when he just raced off. Okay, she should've probably expected that. Laughing to herself she herself picked up the pace on her bike, putting as much strength into as she could muster. Soon she was close behind him again and the meadow was getting closer and closer... |
