Glenn had questioned her mum about sending some to Hogwarts. Her mum was not amazing, but a better baker than Glenn would ever be. "I thought maybe- since you always give people cookies when they're sad maybe you'd want one too?" She placed the lunch box on the table and pushed it over to where Kurumi was sitting. The lunch box had charmed to keep the cookies inside warm over the travel to Hogwarts.
Kurumi was idly holding her empty cup, not really feeling like getting a drink like everyone else and instead had her notebook out on the table with a pencil and red pen beside it for note taking. She almost didn't notice that Glenn had arrived at her table and offered her a cookie and and winced obviously when the Hufflepuff mentioned her mother. She...didn't want to talk about that, or have anyone bring it up, so she simply ignored the comment and stared off into space.
However, when the cookie was presented to her, Kurumi slowly turned her attention towards her and politely accepted it. She wasn't used being on the receiving end of these sorts of things, so this was sort of odd for her. "
Um...thanks," she said with the faintest of smiles, placing the cookie on the table and not nibbling on it. Maybe later. After all....the entire lesson
again was about eating.
