Seminar Course
The second Seminar Lesson of the term has begun, and is once again open to all students. Enjoy badgers!

BOOfire By The Lake
As come to be expected each term, the prefects and captains have been hard at work for an event to entertain the students of Hogwarts. This term they've planned a bonfire by the lake. Of course it wouldn't be a bonfire without a ghost story...

Extras

Hogwarts Grounds. We have a new Groundskeeper ~~so, go bother him~~ who keeps himself busy trying to keep the grounds looking perfect for us. The grounds are extensive, so make sure to keep an eye out for any volunteers he might be looking to lend a hand or two or four in doing some light chores around them.
The Greenhouses / The Student Graden. Professor Bentley has worked hard over the summer to keep the Student Garden running, and we're sure she'll like to keep both the Garden and the Greenhouses well maintained... Have a knack for Herbology? Then why not offer your assistance in helping to ensure the plants are well nourished and everything kept in place?
Hogwarts Library. Perhaps you are one who enjoys the books and spends way too much time inside reading/studying. Which is okay, and the library holds many books for you to enjoy, just...keep in mind that that is the only purpose of the library.
Magical Creatures Sanctuary / The Barnyard. For those badgers who signed up to help out in the sanctuary at the start of term, your time to work with the creatures outdoors is almost up! Very soon the barnyard will be opened for students wishing to spend more time with the furry critters during these freezing months.
Magic Free Fun Zone (Muggle Board Games!) Well this looks like fun, no?

Find anyplace else that you think would be good to add to this 'extra' list for Badgers to know? Please send a PM to one (or both) of your House Prefects.

Congrats again to our quidditch team for their win against Gryffindor. I don't think it can be said enough. Congrats!!

Second, be careful when wandering the grounds. Some creatures from the forest have been spotted, and it would be best for everyone if we didn't all go Griffindor when one happened upon us badgers. Just fetch a professor.
