As Alice peered into the passageway behind the Mirror, she realized that it, unfortunately, was caved in. As the girl drew back from the passageway, she bumped into someone behind her. Jumping in surprise, she turned to see a girl who looked about her age and height staring intently at her. "What are you doing? It's not nice to sneak up on people.." the lioness said, stepping back into the large reflecting glass that shielded the entrance. The second year was quite shaken up because of the sudden appearance of the other girl, but she managed to pull herself together.

"Err.. hi there," she said, still pressed against the wall. "Sorry I snapped at you. Uh, I'm not used to being surprised." Figuring this was enough explanation, Alice glanced toward the Mirror again and found the little niche again. Just how badly was the thing caved in?
