Tayla wrote down notes as the professor discussed and her classmates answered.
She decided to answer the professor's question this time and raised her hand.
"It was created by Salazar Slytherin and made it the home of a Basilisk, which was intended to be used to rid Hogwarts of Muggle-borns." After a quick pause, she continued.
"I think the tunnels and dead-ends were for the Basilisk to move around and to be able to trap its...prey." Tayla shuddered a little. The idea was horrible.
