Well that did explain some --- or a lot --- about why the girl had vegetables in her purse. Still.....
"Yes, pymgy puffs are vegetarian in a way, good....." As for the hair thing.... Robbie tilted his head. "Is your pygmy female? The puffs tend to nest when mating --- ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT MATING SEASON RIGHT NOW," he had to keep repeating that for some reason, "so yours MIGHT be wanting to make a nest."
Now then, it was DEFINITELY beyond time to move on. "OKAY," William raised his voice again in a last ditch effort to gain the class' attention. "Let's have another group share their results. Anyone. About anything. And if your pygmy puff is squeaking, kindly take it outside, calm it down, and come back in please."

"Oh, well...fine then," she said and began reaching for the Pygmy Puff. Just before she grabbed it, though...
...Professor WWW responded to her comment, asking her to demonstrate. "Demonstrate?" she asked, her face falling a little. She had to actually feed the thing?! Bahhh. "Right. Demonstrate." She turned back to her partner, who was still having a time with the Pygmy Puff. "Err, Elise?" she asked. "Wanna hand me a piece of lettuce? I'm meant to be demonstrating our theory, and maybe it'll lure the Pygmy Puff away from your hair..."
So as long as it didn't jump on Sierra's hair next.
Nodding shyly, she shrugged.
"Could you?" she asked, not waiting for a response before she ducked again.
"Thanks," she grinned as she noticed Sierra reach for the pygmy puff and...
YANK!
It wasn't Sierra, she was listening to what Professor WWW had to say. HONEY... Right. Demonstrate, she nodded as the professor said something about demonstrating and lunch.
Turning to Sierra, she nodded, opening the zip lock and passing a leaf of lettuce. If this got the puffer out of her hair, she'd be beyond happy! Sheesh! Paying attention to WWW just in time to hear him start explaining why her annoying ball of fluff wouldn't leave her head, she groaned.
"I think so..." she shrugged. It had a really long tongue, and wasn't as brightly colored as the others... I think...
"Haven't seen it since it hopped onto my hair..."
Trying to pry the claws off her hair, she managed to catch sight of the puff sticking its tongue out at her mockingly. Hurtful.
