He knocked three times on the door to see if the Professor would answer. Three knocks and William was at the door. He opened it with a yank, surprised to see that Hufflepuff, that one, standing on the threshold.
"Hello," he greeted the boy cautiously, "what can I do for you??" Quote:

Oakey was there! Ah, the girl with the sick owl! She was back! William frowned and wondered why he hadn't seen her sooner.
"Hi," he greeted the girl slowly, eying her owl with an even bigger frown. "What's up?" Or down? Quote:

Professor,
Please come to the Pathways quickly! Some kind of creature with lobster-like pincher things has attacked Oakey and I tried to stun it. I'm not sure if I did it correctly and I couldn't let it hurt him and there was no one to help him! Please hurry!
Ella
It was only after eying the owl that William noticed the note tacked to his door, it having fluttered down from his hard yanking. Oh. Uh oh. A blast-ended skrewt on the pathways...?!
No, this looked like a prank. William laughed softly to himself and tucked the note away in his pocket. Silly child, pranks were for adults! Still, it couldn't hurt to take a look at the pathways later when he was walking Jack. For now, though, he had to take care of the sick owl on his doorstep. Poor thing.
