Once Amelia had the incantation down she decided that it was a good time for her to start practicing the wand movement. Pulling out her wand, he recalled how Professor Magnus had created the vase. She'd try to do that in a bit but first she wanted to get the movement down as perfectly as possible.
She made sure to move the thimbles on her desk off to the side for the moment; she wasn't going to do the vase yet so there was no need for her to have any thimbles in the area. Pointing her wand vertically, she made the first clockwise movement, then the second, and then the third. She made sure to move upwards with each circular movement.
It seemed pretty easy to her and it was almost time for her to start trying to make a vase.
