Gideon had been too wound to sleep and so he had simply been lying down near one of the sides of the tent. His eyes half open, he might have looked like he was drifting off but instead trying not to cause too much attention to himself as he rested and kept half of his attention on what was going on around him. As more and more professors started to appear at the tent including his head of house who walked right past him, the 5th year knew something had to be up and possibly quite serious.

Giving up on sleep, he got up and headed towards where Professor Bentley had been talking with Professor Roslund. The boy arriving just in time in hear the man suggest she gather the lions up to head back to the castle. "Umm...can I help Professors?" he tentatively asked offering the assistance of an older lion to help with the younger ones.
