Alyssa then went looking for ants. She looked in all the nooks and crannies of the barnyard. The Professor sure kept a clean barnyard, but Alyssa was determined to find some ants. If they weren't already here, she would make them come. So she pulled out a bar of chocolate from her pocket and broke off a square, and lay it down on the ground and waited. She sat and watched patiently and was glad to see one tiny ant come crawling towards her chocolate bit. She sat very still and didn't do anything as she knew that this was a scout ant and hopefully it would bring others, when it went back to it's home. Sure enough it crawled back to where it came from and a couple of minutes later, it, or something that looked like it, for they all looked alike, came back with others following closely behind it. They swarmed over the chocolate.

Alyssa quickly picked it up and ran towards Nerfball, blowing off any ants that were trying to crawl up her arm. She fed the chocolate covered with ants to Nerfball. It sniffed the chocolate and looked at the ants. It was definitely taking it's time to decide whether it wanted to eat the chocolate or not. Alyssa was about to throw the cholocate away when Nerfball's tongue flew out and grabbed hold of the chocolate, ants and all, and pullled it into its mouth, slowly chewing on it.

"It looks like it not only loves chocolate, it also eats ants, Taylor. We can definitely check that off. How are you doing with Mercy?" Alyssa asked her.

Taylor realized that she forgot to tell Alyssa that they ate leaves too and so she tried to remember when Alyssa got back to tell her. While Alyssa was gone looking for ants, Taylor decided to try out the spiders. She went over to one of the coroers and plucked off a spider from its web. She came skipping back to where Mercy was and placed it in front of her. Mercy sniffed at it for a few moments then hesitanted. Mercy's tongue came out slowly and carefully. UIt wrapped around the spider and took it after a while. Taylor was amazed at what the two puffs were eatiing, some of it was a little disgusting. When Alyssa came back and asjed Taylor a question, she replied, "Doing good, i learnt that they do inded eat spiders and i forgot to tell you, they do eat leaves." She smiled at Alyssa, "What about you and Nerfball?"
