Ella watched as Messer was able to produce his shield before she was able to disarm him. She was impressed with the speed at which he performed the charm and smiled at him. "Wow Messer, that was great!" She hoped she would be able to produce the shield in the same manner and as fast as he was able to. "So I guess it's my turn now?" she asked her partner. She held her wand at the ready, looking at Messer with a confident smile. Confidence was key after all, wasn't it? "Alright, I think I'm ready! Try and disarm me!" she called, ready to act.
"Thanks Ella." Messer grinned widely. He was really surprised that he managed to perform the Shield Charm before his partner's spell hit him.
"Yes. Its yours now." he told Ella.
"Are you ready?" he asked while pointing his wand toward Ella and did the 'D' movement with his wand, he said
"Expelliarmus!" A jet of light come from the tip of his wand toward the other first year. His eyes glued to the light hoping that it doesn't vanish into a thin air like before.
