There's some good in this world and it's worth fighting for| LOTR|Whovian|Sherlock Fan

After the five minutes were up, Alyssa examined the handle again and was glad to see that the polish had now turned the handle hazy looking. Picking up her blue towel, Alyssa slowly buffed off the polish in small circular patterns. She started from the top of the handle and buffed her way downwards, continuously circling the rag in her hand over the handle. As she buffed, she started to see a blurrish reflection of herself on the handle. But as she continued to buff, taking her time and whistling an old tune, "Whistle while you work", a tune that she had somehow remembered after watching an old muggle movie, Snow White, Alyssa noticed that her reflection began to appear sharper and clearer on the handle. Glad that what she was doing was working, she continued buffing off the polish, until she could see her reflection all along the handle.

Now that she had completed polishing the handle, Alyssa reviewed her journal, scratching off the steps that she had completed, before sitting back and waiting for the Professor to give further instructions.
