Or... not? Aspen was asking out of genuine curiosity about the boy that occupied her thoughts SO often - not so much because she was nosing into past relationships or being judgmental or anything of that sort. She just wanted to know more and MORE and always MORE about him.

Cornelius gave a brief nod as Aspen repeated his words, not exactly understanding where she was going with this. But he only had to wonder for a moment, because in the next she had asked permission to inquire about him dating other girls, something she was apparently wondering about. His eyebrows rose.

Oh.

He hadn't really expected that, but looking back on the past few minutes of conversation, he didn't blame her. If Aspen had just casually mentioned past boyfriends, he would be curious. His brows furrowed. Thinking about Aspen having past boyfriends seemed much more...unknown and question-provoking to him, in comparison to him having past girlfriends. But that was probably because he himself knew all about his past small relationships, and knew immediately that they were nothing interesting. Well, to him they weren't, anymore.

And as he thought about this, he realized that Aspen must've been curious about that part of his life as he would be about hers, and gave a brief nod and a soft smile at her request for permission. "Of course," Cornelius decided, sitting up a bit more and turning towards her even further so as to show that she had his attention and he was willing to answer anything she asked. "Ask away."
