The light
was beginning to fade but there was still just enough to further the shadow being created by the dial. Finally finding a spot where he could see the time without blocking the little sunlight that was left, Auggie scribbled down the time he expected it to be, according to the sundail at least.

Taking out her knitting needles and some red yarn, Kurumi began to wrapped the thread around them and started making the base. A nice tomato red sweater for a very cute brown duck...hopefully it would bring out the color of its dark eyes. Yep.
"Yes, that works too but I need to use the sundail Kurumi, you are suggesting a form of cheating." He chided as he continued to scribble down his guess and drew a crude diagram of the sundail and the shadow position.
"Well I have six, almost half way 'til seven." That made since, the sun was beginning to set, and with it being winter that happened alot sooner than in the summer. But looking at the shadow on the sundail, it had landed between the marks he had designated for six and seven.
