After all, it was only disarming, it was such an easy spell for someone with his knowledge... He turned back to Stella, or as she probably would prefer, Mademoiselle Gardier. With a small movement of his left hand, the wand was already out of its holster and in his hand.

"So..." he said, letting that hang in the air for a moment. So, who should go first? After one more second, he figured it was enough time to caution her too that he was shooting. She should be grateful just for that--in a real duel, the opponent would savour every moment of distraction. Raising his wand, he made the 'd' movement as he spoke the spell clearly: "Expelliarmus!" The red jet of flash left his wand. Yeah. It was easy.
