Yes, this further confirmed his hypothesis that she was indeed much older than him. But now that their years had been exchanged, this left him with the issue of the awkward silence that usually came about. There was nothing to say. That is, unless he created something to say, which was certainly do-able. There were plenty of things to say, he just didn't want to say them.
Tristan decided upon the easiest.
