When the door to the kitchens opened, Pem raised her head long enough to see who it was. Realizing that she had no idea who the girl was, Pem returned to her book momentarily, she hadn't expected for the girl to take a seat with her. "Oh, hello." Introduce yourself Pem. She thought, maybe then she'd make a friend for a change instead of saying just enough to get people to leave her alone. "I'm Pemberly." She said lightly, "From Hufflepuff." She added on with a small proud smile.
Evelyn saw the girl close her book and she felt a little embarrassed.
"Erm..sorry if I'm disturbing you." Evelyn said, with a nervous smile.
"..and, I hope you don't mind me joining you."
Evelyn extended her hand.
"I'm Evelyn. Nice to meet you Pemberly." She gave a bright smile. It was always nice to meet new people. It was one of the most exciting things about joining a new school.
"Oh. I'm a Hufflepuff as well."
