Alec blinked down at the girl. She seemed to be acting slightly oddly. Maybe she was just distracted by her clothes or something. No wonder. The girl was wearing a dress! No one in their right mind can wear a dress and NOT get distracted by themselves. Especially when the person looked nice as well.

Alec smiled as Adeline looked up at him. Now things didn't need to be weird between the two of them. They could have a nice, pleasant conversation right here... in the middle of the corridor. "So how have you been? I haven't seen you around a lot..." That last comment was something he's been saying a lot lately.
