Lumos .24
Seventh Year
Midnight on a Thursday night, Lily snuck out of the common room. She had a secret meeting planned, and needed to find it. She had no idea where it was. All she was told was that if she wondered around, she would find it. That was way too ambiguous, and she soon found herself walking around feeling lost inside her own home.
But Lily was starting to get frightened, and she pulled out her wand and said “Lumos.”
She opened her mouth to let out a scream, but the hands were too close and she felt one go right over her mouth, and others pulling her by her hands and arms along the corridor.
One of them pulled her wand from her hand and held it up to lead the way. The silhouettes were of her friends, which made her relax. When they stood in front of a large wall, the four pairs of hands let her free, and all pointed their wands up and said “Lumos,” so they could watch the wall transform into a giant door.
“What is this?” Lily asked, amazed she had never seen it before.
“Evans, Welcome to the Room of Requirement,” James said.
