Lily and Alice were sitting near the Black Lake, getting some sun. They were enjoying the peace and quiet outside the castle, but it was soon interrupted.
“Lily, it’s happening again,” Remus said with panic in his voice. Lily scrambled up quickly, brushing the grass from her clothes, as she run back towards the castle with Remus.

“He.. can’t.. be.. serious! He’s.. head.. boy.. now..” Lily panted as she followed Remus.
He didn’t reply, so when Lily turned the corner and saw that it was James’ body levitating in the air by his ankle she let out a loud gasp.

“Severus, what are you doing?” she asked him.
“Showing him that some people like revenge,” he said, looking truly like he would harm James.
Lily felt her entire soul drop to her feet. “Why are you doing this?”
He looked at her, and flipped his wand which dropped James’ levitating body to the ground, landing with a thud on the hard ground. “I love you Lily. He took you away from me!”

“Severus, it wasn’t that that made you lose me,” she said, turning her back on him to help James off the round with Remus and Sirius’ help.
