“How old are you Evans?” James asked, barging in to the Prefect’s compartment where Lily and Remus were. They had been discussing more on the Incarcerous charm and how to tweak it, and were glad to be alone. Remus sighed when he entered, and Lily glared at him.
“Same age as you, big head,” she said.
“But… Are you sure you’re not 80?”

She looked puzzled. Exchanging a look with Remus, and seeing he too had no idea what James was on about, she said “What are you on about Potter?”
He laughed at her and pointed to a pair of knitting needles which had been charmed to hover mid air and knit by themselves. It was knitting something Red and Gold.
Lily smiled at Remus and giggled.
Remus shifted nervously in his chair. Here it goes… “It’s mine,” he admitted.

James looked between the two, sure they were pulling a joke on him. “You what?”
“I’m knitting a rug for next year. The shrieking shack is getting too cold in winter for me and I keep getting sick,” he said.
Lily raised her eyebrows at James, as if daring him to make a joke about his friend.
