But... there seemed to be someone sitting right there, looking at him. Or were they looking at something else? His eyes were too blurry to tell what this person was looking at. Really... he shouldn't have picked up the cookie and ate it like that. But who would leave cookies lying around?

And then the mysterious person spoke. And this person knew his name! Did he knew this person? It seemed so! There was no way he was popular enough to have people know him. "Thanks!" he gasped, taking the vial and taking a swig of the potion inside it.

... Something was changing inside him. Alec blinked rapidly. The wateriness seemed to subside! He could SEE! And... his cheeks weren't hurting anymore. They must be going back to their normal, pale pinkish colour. Alec grinned as he looked at the person sitting opposite him.

... Lyss? Lyss was the one who saved him? "Thanks so much, Lyss!" he said, taking a deep breath and sitting back. Those deadly cookies! "What exactly did you give me?" Whatever it was, he needed to take some of that around. Just in case Lyss wasn't around to save the day.
