Huh?? Amelia leaned in closer as Isaac mumbled the position he'd be playing, or thought he'd be playing. "You'll do well in that position," she told him confidently, knowing that her words were true. At practice he was very good and she had no doubt that being in an actual game wouldn't change that. However as he'd mumbled the position she thought that it would be best not to mention it out loud either, just in case there was some reason he didn't want other people to know, and decided to let the issue drop.
"It's really not that bad. And I'm actually not sure what the ingredients are..." maybe she should go bother the potions professor about it. Or look it up in a book or something. Either way knowing the ingredients may actually be really helpful. That way she could maybe make it if she needed it once school was out.
"Oh, thank-you," Amelia said, as she too took her hot chocolate from the helpful elf, before sipping at it. She was pleased to see that it was just the right amount of sweet. And if it weren't for the fact that she was in company she'd be draining her mug. But in company that was not something she could or would do.
"I really, really like you Isaac," Amelia murmured as she moved into a slightly different position, one that would allow her to look at him without craning her neck too far. Even though she figured that he would have to know that she liked him, in fact if she was being honest she more than just liked him, she thought that it was important to let him know that. Just in case.
Laughing he leaned his head on hers momentarily before sitting back up looking down at her. "I think...no I know ye will be just fine." And he did, he was confident they had a good team, all of them too, not just those who would playing in the first game. "I'm nervous really nervous." he admitted softly. "I've never played except in practice, and never up until coming te Hogwarts. I mean I've flown but not played quidditch!" And the thought terrified him!
"I guess we'll see if I ever haf te take it then." he said with another laugh. He hoped he wouldn't, but everyone got sick once in awhile. And hopefully that wouldn't occur during the game! Blowing on the hot chocolate before taking a sip he felt the liquid go down his throat and start immediately to warm him through. "Mmmm, very good. Shaken I'd say, not stirred." he said with a sigh.
Hearing her words a soft smile went to his eyes again. He'd been thinking on this quite a bit, and having known her now since July, he'd been thinking more and more. He hated to be apart from her, and cherished every moment they had together. He'd thought of waiting til Christmas a few weeks away, but what if something happened during the match??? "What would ye say if I said I might be more then liking ye?" he asked softly looking into her eyes.
