The only thing that bothered him really was he was like the only guy! Well except Asher, but still!
Watching as she looked around the kitchens he wondered where she might sit, happy to accommodate he had no problem of her curling up on his lap. His fingers found her hand and threaded his fingers through hers. Settling in he realized there was an elf standing there watching them. Perking up he smiled over at him "Could we haf te...?" Glancing down at Amelia questioning to make sure hot chocolate was ok. "Te hot chocolate's please."
Nodding at what she said "It takes a certain taste te get used te." he said shrugging. It was one of the few drinks they could drink besides water that they brought with them to the digs, so he'd had to either drink that or water and water really got tiring after awhile. Wait...Pepper up? "What's pepper up?"
Huh??
"Oh no. I wouldn't feign illness to get out of the actual game. Just to get out of practices if they're scheduled at inconvenient times," Amelia corrected once she realized that Isaac had taken her words the wrong way. Feigning illness to get out of the actual game? That was something she'd never do. She'd most likely play in the game even if she was ill. She was committed to not letting people down during the actual match. "Thanks... Have you been told your position," she asked smiling gently as she looked up at him and playing with their intertwined fingers.
Amelia nodded slightly to indicate that she was good with having hot chocolate, because really who wouldn't be good with that? Well a vegan wouldn't be, but since she'd gotten over that phase ages ago hot chocolate was very definitely one of her favourite winter drinks. "I suppose it is an acquired taste, maybe. I just never had it much at home. It was pretty much water, milk, or other juices, with the occasional soft drink. My mum was always of the opinion that pumpkin was better left as food rather than a drink," and her father had never really cared what they had. In fact she was pretty sure he didn't much like Pumpkin Juice. And if he did than he didn't have it at home.
"You don't know what Pepperup is?" she asked shocked. She thought everyone knew what it was. Although, maybe he didn't get colds much living in Egypt and what not... "It's a Potion that helps cure colds... It's pretty useful during Winter," she finally explained once she got over her surprise at him not knowing, before going back to playing with his fingers while waiting for their drinks.
