But Grayson seemed to have some sort of x-ray vision through her personality. He called her out for everything she did- right, wrong or indifferent. When she had first met him it was annoying and off putting. However, in the current moment, Grayson had made Selina feel awful. He had a point to what he was saying. Perhaps, she was being a little rude, but her pre-conceived notions against him were concrete in her mind and wrongly so.
What was it about the way that he spoke that always made her feel like an ****? He was right. She knew he was right and that made things worse. She could not even ignore the fact that he was right...
As he stepped away from him she shook her head and looked down on the ground. Ashamedly she said, "Look I'm sorry.... alright? I just... I don't know... I'm sorry, okay?" That was the best he was going to get from her.
"I'm not as bad as you make me out to be. I know they say first impressions last but I'm sure I've given reason to change your mind. But then again that's Selina, right? Please tell me I'm wrong. I want to be wrong." he said. He shook his head and said,
"I don't want to make you feel the way you feel or make you frown like that."
He never wanted to make another girl sad even if it meant his own happiness.
