Kimalia knew this moment would come.. Frankly she didn't want to eat those nuts, since the first and last time she did it did not end well. But she had to in order to continue. If anything, Professor Lafay would come to her rescue if her potion was wrong.. She walked over and grabbed a handful of those peanuts and took it back to her seat waiting for her cauldron to cool. She wished it would hurry, her hand was very slowly turning red.
Finally it cooled, she took a cupful but didn't drink it yet.
Ugh.. here goes. Putting the nuts in her mouth she began to try chewing... AHHHH!! HOT! HOT! HOT! Immediately, her mouth opened as she tried to let the heat out. It was like fire ants were dancing on her tongue as soon as it made contact. Now she had the deep urge to run that grater on her itching lips. *
Chew* Chew* *Chew* *Chew* *Swallow* *GULP* It wasn't getting any better at all, and the room now felt extremely hot. Now was the best time to drink the solution.
Taking a big gulp of the potion, she could feel the coolness start to flow down her tongue, smacking her lips a bit so it could take away the itching. It didn't work immediately, but with enough time all the side effects vanished. Phew! Breathing deeply, though Kimalia was normal again, it felt like she had ran a few hundred miles.
