Adam's vision came back to him as he shook his head returning to the present time of he an Ellie. He saw her sit down on the couch an asked him if they were friends.Lately, for a few years now, he wasn't sure what a friend was, after ruining some of his best friendships. Then he saw that she looked impatient or bothered by their conversation. "This is no place for a conversation like this huh?" He laughed quietly, even if he didn't find it funny. An he still brought it up even though they had recently talked about it. Adam's eye wandered for a second an saw the table with treats on it. He remembered Ellie was known to be a food muncher. "So, wanna go rot our teeth with candy?" There, mood changer. Hopefully they'll enjoy getting sick on treats, or have pain in trying.
Ellie watched Adam as he fiddled with the couch and supposedly thought about her question. She was hoping he would say yes, because she wanted to be friends with him. To her relief, he said they were. Well he said he "guessed" they were.
"Good." That would have to do for now.
Yeah, this dark corner was kind of... not really a fun place to be while they were at a party.
"Nah, not so much." Ellie laughed quietly. She beamed when Adam suggested rotting their teeth out with candy. Sitting in a corner all night at a birthday party just didn't sound like a whole lot of fun to her.
"That sounds like a splendid idea!" And with that, Ellie grabbed Adam's hand and drug him across the room to all the food.
