Lewis watched her leaning against the wall out of the corner of his eyes. He didn't want her to think he was staring at her after all. He didn't however move closer or take a step back. He just remained standing where he was, feeling just a little bit awkward. What would they talk about? Somehow he couldn't quite see the whole Common Room theme going on for too long.
"It's nice." He agreed a little half-heartedly with her assessment of this place. It was just a corridor after all. It didn't look too different from all the others. Or was she talking about the Common Room? Huh. "It's my first time up here, actually." Lewis offered, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. Or was she talking about the view from up here? Was he supposed to look out that window too? |
