Ella wasn't allergic to anything so she stood up and walked hesitantly over to the vials. With a look at the sky and a prayer that somebody please not let her die from this-Ella downed the vial. She scrunched up her face in disgust as the aftertaste wasn't great. Then, she walked over to the tray to see what she reacted to. Smells weren't causing anything to happen so she picked up a strawberry to eat. Nothing happened at first but then-the itching! It was horrible! It felt like the roof of her mouth had a million mosquito bites.
Ella hurried back to her cauldron where she hastily drank a cupful of potion, eyes wide. She closed them tight when she had swallowed, hoping the itching would stop. Shortly, it did. Ella was no longer feeling the insane urge to scratch the roof of her mouth. She was comfortable again and the panic subsided.
"Merlin that was scary! Thank goodness it worked!"
