He didn't mentioned the friends wasn't his friends at all...they were just a bunch of bullies in school who liked to roughen him up a little. He hated those people...he rather not mentioned them at all.

Gustav started to pull his hands away,
"I said I'm f-fine..."he said in frustration but stopped when Kacie started to become more demanding. He blinked and did what he was told. He held up his hands like dutiful boy.
Gustav let her cleaned the wounds away. He didn't say anything more because he was afraid he might upset her in some way. When she asked why he did this, he glanced down and stared at his shoes.
"Of course not...but I had to...do you want to know what it feels like being trapped here and can't do anything to stop something you held dear for..."he muttered under his breath,angrily at her.
"Don't you feel helpless for not being to do anything...I'm not a coward, I do not hide!"he exclaimed suddenly. He realised he was still mad, he didn't mean to shout at her.
