She showed the students how to do it, letting the hot liquid melt off all the honey from the spoon. "Take 5 basil leaves and slice them thin, as thin as you can, with your silver knife." And she did what she said to the letter. "Now what you want to do is take a papaya, whole and with the same silver knife, stab the fruit and stuff some of the basil in the wound. Keep stabbing until you make enough holes for all of the basil. Then add it to the mixure. Whole."
1 whole Papaya
That was good to know... Lily thought as she looked up toward the professor to see the next step.
Oh boy... this one is going to be interesting. she pondered as she took her wooden spoon, cleaned it and decanted 3 spoonfuls of raw honey into her cauldron, allowing the honey to be melted off.
Ok, next part. Lily thought moving on, pulling out her silver knife and cleaning it. She took her basil leaves out and tried to slice them thinly, without cutting her fingers.
She wants us to what??? Lily thought as she picked up her papaya. She took her knife and stabbed the fruit a few times before taking the basil and sticking it in the 'wounds'. Lily's eyebrows when up as she added the papaya-basil mixture into the cauldron.
