Sierra's eyes grew wide as she suddenly realized she'd gotten behind on the brewing process. Merlin! ...and in Lafay's class, too. Of all professors! She quickly reached for the Murtlap Essence and added ten drops of it to the mixture. She eyed the drops carefully as each fell into the brew. Ten. Excatly. Putting the Murtlap Essence back on her workstation, she picked up her wooden stirrer and began stirring in a counter-clockwise direction. Finally, she picked up the two sprigs of parsley, crushed them loosely in her hands, and watched as the flakes fell into the mixture.

"Next steps... Pull your wooden spoon, and add 3 spoonfulls of raw honey..." She looked over to the Gryffindor prefect. "It doesn't have to be perfectly measured... you just add it by eye." She showed the students how to do it, letting the hot liquid melt off all the honey from the spoon. "Take 5 basil leaves and slice them thin, as thin as you can, with your silver knife." And she did what she said to the letter. "Now what you want to do is take a papaya, whole and with the same silver knife, stab the fruit and stuff some of the basil in the wound. Keep stabbing until you make enough holes for all of the basil. Then add it to the mixure. Whole."
1 whole Papaya
With her wooden spoon, Sierra scooped up three spoonfuls of raw honey. She added them to the brew then reached for the five basil leaves. With her silver knife, she began slicing the leaves as thin as she could. She thought she'd done a pretty good job. She moved her knife toward a nearby papaya and quickly stabbed a wound directly into it. Then she began the process of stuffing the basil into the wound. With a plop, she added the basil-stuffed papaya into the cauldron.
