"Fi-Fine." Adam answered her question, though his answer was wavering a bit in tone. Yep, best not to think of the other situation. "I don't matter at the moment..You're the one, err..crying." Why should she be interested in his drama filled life, when she sat there alone with a need to talk to someone, at least he guessed. "If you want, just cry..I mean- it's kinda hard forcing back tears when it's all you want to do." He said in a reassuring manner. Holding them in would probably make it worse. Violet just wished she could runaway and prevent him from continuing to her like this. But her feet wouldn't move. As much as she didn't want to admit it, Violet did kind of want someone to talk to. Of course you ask why didn't she just go and speak to Elektra or Selina? She wished she could, but seeing as there was enough drama going on between Violet figured it best not to bring on this burden with them.
She then apologized after she had seemingly seemed to scare Adam a little bit when she had first seen him. Violet began wondering how Adam ended up over here, but then quickly remembered him being a Prefect so clearly he was checking the library for any imperfections and well...he definitely found one.
Violet could hear in his reply to her question when she was trying to cover it up that his tone was a little bit uneasy. Then she slowly stopped wiping her eyes for a moment when he began to speak to her. While he was speaking to her Violet couldn't help but notice his face looked in the sunlight as it hit his skin. And how it almost made him look like he were shining or something. But realizing what she was doing Violet quickly shook her head trying not to think about that at the moment.
When he had told her that if she wanted to cry that she shouldn't Violet paused for a moment looking at him. She knew he had a point but Violet learned very well from last year that crying couldn't always help. Violet asked him softly,"You're right...It is all that I want to do...But..how can crying solve any of your problems all of the time...I feel.." she paused,"I feel as if you cry...it doesn't make the hurt inside go away...It just makes it dwell and the hurt last longer.."
