Having poured her mixture in her mortar into her cauldron, Kurumi glanced up when Professor Lafay began demonstrating the next few steps. Slowly and gingerly, Kurumi added her Murtlap Essence, making sure that each drop had time to settle before the next one was added and then picked up her wooden spoon. "Scourgify," she said, flicking her wand and ensuring that it too was clean. She then inserted it into her cauldron and stirred counter-clockwise 8 times. Removing the spoon from the mixture, Kurumi tapped the edge of her cauldron to make sure that any excess wasn't wasted.

Setting the spoon down now, Kurumi picked up the parsley and crushed it in her hands. She never really liked the smell of parsley. It reminded her of a heavy meal of steak and potatoes...Kurumi was much more of a fish person. Once the parsley was in, Kurumi returned to her notes to write down the steps she had just taken.
