Sammy was excited. Yes there always seemed to be plenty of parties at Hogwarts but this one she knew about BEFORE it happened. She'd found out this morning and had shamelessly spent the whole organising herself ... and on tumblr. She had told Amy she better get her butt to the party but didn't actually know if she would pull through, she was still going nuts about the curly haired guy with the weird name. So when she made her way to the party the biggest struggle was getting in. No matter how times she thought FOR MERLIN'S SAKE YOU WALL, LET ME IN! it wouldn't. She had occasionally heard that you had to be specific with the door but Sammy didn't do specific very well. People just had to know what she was talking about.

Or walls.

When it had finally let her in she was blinded by purple-ness. Trust Nessie to do that. She was going to be seeing purple for weeks! Oh well. Purple wasn't such a bad colour. At least it wasn't ... brown or something. Looker around she noticed that she, thank Merlin, wasn't the first one. In fact she was possibly one of the last. And she couldn't exactly use the "fashionably late" excuse because she'd spent two minutes picking out her outfit.

Soon enough she spotted Nessie, in purple. Of course. Typical Nessie. Right there. She quickly made her way over to the birthday girl, holding a small birthday bag that she had filled with all sorts of sweets from Honeydukes. Creeping up behind the girl she yelled "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" happily, then holding out the small bag to her, she knew Nessie didn't want anything BUT TOOOOOOOO BAD. It was her birthday, she was having Sammy's present.
