Following the Professors invite, she stepped into the bright office, surprised by the fact that although it was out in the middle of the Hogwarts Grounds, it looked nothing like the wilderness that could sometimes be felt outside. It just looked like part of the castle, an extention of some sort. It was furnished nicely and was warm in contrast to the biting breeze that had seemed to begun in the coming weeks of winter. Taking a quick glance around Kendra could see piles of book on creatures she had never heard off pearched precariously on shelves. She wished she could walk over to them, but there was no time.

But now back to busisness. She slowly walked over to the wooden chair opposite the Professors desk, sitting down on the edge of it. She had never been inside a teachers office before, so wasn't too sure how to act, even though she knew that this was not the time to be nervous.

The first thing she did was almost scream as the desk seemed to growl at her, what on earth? She hadn't seen the animal belonging to the growl, so had no clue what was happening. She froze, waiting until the professor came in.
