Not likely.
The red hair was caught off guard when she asked her about kids. "No. I'm still single." she said with a small smile. Single and happy. Well, at least that she always said in her mind. "What about you? Do you have any kids?" Ruth asked. Of course it was nice to meet MRS. Scamander. Heh. Nodding politely Tamara went back to placing the photo in JUST the right place.
Turning her head slightly to smile at the other woman Tamara said, "Yes I do indeed have children. Three to be exact. Lucian, Deidra, and Dale. The lights of my life." Whether they appreciated their mother or not. Heh. Quote:

Now Tamara's attention was torn as another woman entered in the room in something of what she assumed the woman THOUGHT was a regal fashion. Yeaaaaaah. Quote:

Minister Greingoth sounded perfect in reference to him. "Uneventful?" he questioned, trying to think back on a moment with things in his office hadn't been eventful. He laughed, although, not in an impolite way. "Oh, you just wait, Mrs. Scamander. You just wait," he said. Changing his tune a bit, he added, "A lot of the recent action hasn't been here in the office. It's been in the Atrium--first with a battle and then with a ball." They'd really been here and there lately.
His face brightened into a small smile as she congratulated him on the upcoming marriage. "Well, thank you, Mrs. Scamander," he said. Then he leaned over and whispered. "I lucked out with this one. Not so much with the last one, I'm afraid." The more Tamara looked at the Minister and thought... "Oh dear... Alexander? I'll be... My memory has been sullied by years of dealing with children, life and whatnot... We were at Hogwarts together! I was Tamara Winickus then. Ravenclaw Prefect! You were in the same year as my husband, Jonah Scamander!" Small world! They did know one another once upon a time... funny how years of LIFE made one forget things. Hehe. |
